IEMR prize winner at Matrix Biology Europe 2024

As the only Norwegian in the program, Athiramol Sasi from IEMR was selected for an oral presentation of her abstract in the ECM remodelling and fibrosis session at the Matrix Biology Europe 2024 conference. She also won the award for the Best oral presentation.

Matrix Biology Europe is the main conference for extracellular matrix research in Europe, which took place in Lyon, France in September. The plenary sessions had talks from renowned scientists working on different aspects of extracellular matrix research in development and pathology. Moreover, it was an amazing group of participants where Athira took part in great discussions on ECM and proteoglycan research.
