“Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction: Roles in successful treatment and as a treatment target”
This PhD-project consist of two clinical projects and one preclinical project. Main supervisor is dr. Ragnhild Helseth and the project is located at Center for Clinical Heart Research. We are collaborating with IEMF and prof. Mathis Stokke on developing a pig model that test a novel treatment for the ischemia reperfusion injury that occurs during a myocardial infarction.
After the discussion the focus will be on health, environment and safety: HMS annual meeting, IEMR.
