IEMR at Matrix Biology Europe

October 10, 2022
This late September, IEMR researchers traveled to Italy for Matrix Biology Europe; one of the largest conferences in the world for ECM biology.
With the conference held in the Museo degli Innocenti in the center of Florence, PhD students Thea Støle and Athiramol Sasi presented their posters on syndecan-4 and versican in the museum’s art gallery, showcasing their work on the cardiac ECM and sparking fruitful discussions with other international ECM biologists. PhD student Chloe Rixon and post-doc Karoline Rypdal were selected to give talks on lumican and ADAMTSL3, respectively, presented with a renaissance mural backdrop!
