The EWGCCE meeting gathers young researchers and high-level international experts in cardiac cells and provides an overview of topical issues in signalling, ion channels, arrhythmias, models and techniques at experimental and clinical level. In addition there were multiple opportunities for networking with other basic scientists working on the mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias, including the conference dinner at the beautiful Venta de Aires restaurant.
