Academic interests
Clinical cardiac research with a particular focus on:
• Refinement and utilization of beyond state-of-the-art imaging techniques capable of quantifying regional myocardial function and structure.
• Development and exploitation of new and sensitive parameters with a strong coupling to underlying myocardial physiology.
• Combining imaging with molecular biology. Specifically, investigating the link between transcriptional alterations and changes in myocardial function and structure.
