Education

Andreas completed his undergraduate education at Imperial College London, gaining a Master’s degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Immunology and Biomedical Research.

He continued his study of integrins, this time in the context of heart disease, completing a PhD in cardiac research at the University of Oslo.

 

Academic interests

  • Studying the activation of cardiac fibroblasts through cell-surface signaling, with a focus on integrin and proteoglycan biology.
  • Identification of therapeutic targets of cardiac fibrosis
